Adam M. Greenwald, MBA

Director of Development and Communications

With more than two decades in the nonprofit world, Adam M. Greenwald, MBA, has dedicated his career to helping organizations raise the resources they need to thrive. His approach is grounded in relationship-building, thoughtful strategy, and a genuine commitment to the communities nonprofits serve.

During his time as Vice President of Development at Aviva Family and Children’s Services, Adam guided the organization’s fundraising efforts across individual, foundation, and corporate giving. He worked to strengthen donor partnerships, expand volunteer engagement, and ensure that supporters felt meaningfully connected to the mission. As part of the leadership team, he also helped advance internal efforts focused on equity, inclusion, and continuous improvement.

Adam’s educational background reflects his commitment to both leadership and learning. He earned his MBA from Arizona State University and holds additional certifications in fundraising and diversity, equity, and inclusion from New York University and Cornell University. He also completed his undergraduate studies at Brandeis University, where he focused on psychology and the history of art, and later pursued specialized training in major gifts fundraising.

He remains actively involved with his undergraduate alma mater by serving on its alumni association board, supporting efforts to keep graduates connected and engaged. At the heart of Adam’s work is a belief in the power of community and the importance of investing in organizations that create lasting change. When he’s not working, he enjoys spending time with his grown children, exploring Southern California, visiting museums, and following the Dodgers.
