Carlos Porras serves as Director of Finance at Proyecto Pastoral, where he brings nearly two decades of experience advancing the missions of some of Southern California’s most impactful and innovative nonprofits. Rejoining the organization in April 2025, Carlos leads financial strategy, compliance, and budgeting with a clear focus on long-term organizational health and mission alignment.

Throughout his career, Carlos has leveraged finance as a tool to amplify the impact of organizations dedicated to social good—supporting programs that span transitional housing, environmental justice, youth development, and beyond.

Guided by the principles of Servant Leadership, Carlos is dedicated to developing high-performing teams and operational systems in support of program objectives. He is recognized for his collaborative leadership style and a deep commitment to community, equity, and capacity-building within mission-driven organizations.

A proud father to his daughter, Maya, Carlos remains active in his local community and is continuing his educational journey through part-time studies at Mt. San Antonio College.
