Antonia Hernández has spent more than four decades advocating for social justice and improving the lives of underserved communities in Los Angeles County and beyond. Previously, she served for 19 years as President and Chief Executive Officer of California Community Foundation, and president and general counsel of the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF). Hernández earned her B.A. in History at UCLA in 1970 and J.D. at UCLA in 1974.

A leading healthcare center in Los Angeles - Adventist Health White Memorial is a total 545-bed, nonprofit, faith-based teaching hospital, providing a full range of inpatient, outpatient, emergency and diagnostic services across two practicing sites to communities in and near downtown Los Angeles, East Los Angeles, Boyle Heights and Montebello. Keeping our communities healthy has been our mission ever since our hospital was founded in 1913. Today, Adventist Health White Memorial is one of the region's leading nonprofit hospitals inspiring health, wholeness and hope.

Scott Santarosa, SJ attended Santa Clara University before a year of volunteer work with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps and ultimately joining the Society. Father Scott studied and worked in Mexico, and served as provincial of the Oregon Province and USA West Province for 7 years. He has most enjoyed pastoral work among Latinos, first in Los Angeles at Dolores Mission, where he joyfully served as pastor for 7 years.
