Solidarity Campaign

As social justice, community building organization with services for the most vulnerable in our community, we feel a special responsibility. We are working night and day to ensure that Proyecto is responsive to those who may have nowhere else to turn in a time of crisis.

In responding to the Covid-19 pandemic, Proyecto Pastoral’s first priority is the health and well-being not just of our participants, but also of our staff and the community at-large. Following is a list of ways people can support by donating needed supplies, or by making a donation to Proyecto Pastoral so we can continue to support the community during this unprecedented time.

Supplies Needed:

Food

Bulk: Beans, Rice, Pasta, Canned Goods for the Shelter
Canned goods, grains, pasta, fruits and vegetables, and pantry items for families
Catering of Meals for 70 shelter residents, nightly (*See recommended list below of local Boyle Heights restaurants.) Thank you for supporting the shelter residents and our local economy during this difficult time for all of us!

Activities for children - many struggling with internet / tech access

Books for children of all ages
Activity workbooks like crossword puzzles, flashcards, coloring, or other for all ages
Puzzles, Board Games
Art Supplies and activity kits for all ages
