IMPACTO goes "Under the Sea"
180 IMPACTO campers went "Under the Sea" this summer to keep their minds and bodies active. Neighborhood children in grades TK - 8 spent five weeks with IMPACTO at Dolores Mission School and Aliso Pico Recreation Center. Campers made trips to the Long Beach Aquarium, sailing, Kidspace, a local library branch, and local businesses!
IMPACTO provides much need resources to Boyle Heights Youth that include academic case management at its school site, after school programing, mentorship opportunities, as well as their summer camp.
