Early Childhood Education Centers
Our ECEC's are open to about 15 children of essential workers (healthcare, restaurants, grocery store workers). Staff have been working to implement social distancing norms with the children in each classroom, and are carrying out a rigorous cleaning schedule to keep staff and children safe. ECEC staff has also pivoted to provide case management-like services through check-ins and resource distribution with parents of the remaining 70 children who are sheltering at home. They assess their needs and struggles with this change to connect them to the resources they need.
