Dolores Mission Alternative School (DMA) is an accredited school within the Los Angeles County Office of Education. DMA provides a secure learning institution for middle and
high school students in the community who can no longer attend local public schools due to gang affiliation, teen pregnancy, and other social factors.

At DMA, students are given a second opportunity to earn a high school diploma. Our students face many problems such as gangs, poverty, drug and alcohol abuse, and violence. By addressing the academic needs of our students while also providing a safe and nurturing environment for them, Dolores Mission Alternative School is committed to making a difference in the lives of our students.
